e-Poultry was built on a simple belief: every smallholder poultry farmer deserves professional-grade farm tools, regardless of income. The mobile app and web dashboard are permanently free. No subscriptions, no trial periods, no hidden fees.
We are mission-driven. Our revenue comes from physical products and services, not from charging farmers for software. When farmers succeed, the entire poultry value chain benefits, and that is a better business model than locking tools behind a paywall.
The only things that have a cost are the physical products you may choose to add to your farm: IoT monitoring devices and farm equipment. These are one-time hardware purchases priced at fair, farmer-friendly rates. You only ever pay for what you physically need.

How do extension services work?
Extension services are pay-per-use: advisory calls (KES 500), farm visits and assessments (KES 800), disease investigation (KES 1,000), vaccination service (KES 10 per bird), and group training (KES 200 per person). Book and pay directly in the app via M-Pesa. A transport fee may apply for in-person visits -- see below.
Is there a transport fee for farm visits?
Yes. When an extension officer travels to your farm, a transport fee applies on top of the service fee. The rate is KES 15 per kilometre for motorbike transport, charged for both the journey to your farm and the return. The exact amount depends on your distance from the officer's location and is shown before you confirm the booking. e-Poultry uses motorbike rates as the standard, keeping costs low and predictable.
How do I get a quotation for IoT devices or housing?
Visit the contact page and fill in the quotation request form, or reach us directly at +254 742 66 53 83. You can also use the in-app Ndege assistant to get a rough estimate based on your bird type and flock size, then our team will confirm the exact figures.
What payment methods are supported?
M-Pesa is the primary method for service payments, marketplace transactions, and loan repayments. Airtel Money and bank transfers are also supported.
Is there a contract or lock-in?
No contracts and no lock-in. The platform is free and always will be. For hardware purchases, payment is a one-time transaction with no ongoing commitment.
